Spring Time for Hooke's Law
I've started work on a little Flash game to keep me occupied. The core mechanic will revolve around objects trailing each other and being connected via Hooke's Law, a law of physics that can be used to simulate objects on springs, first discovered by Robert Hooke two years before his appointment as Curator of Experiments to the Royal Society.
It sounds incredibly boring now, but I promise that the finished game will be a lot more fun than Monday morning Physics lessons.
It's a long way off a finished game, but you can check out the initial proof of concept experiments as they happen in the Experimental Portfolio section in the meantime.
